The Pandora Shop opens for business
23/07/2010
Buckets and spades, sun tan cream and delicious Callestick Farm Cornish ice cream – a traditional seaside shop selling everything for a family holiday is now open at The Pandora Inn.
A small building adjoining the Inn, it was run as a shop a few years ago, and pub managers Steve and Di Franks have decided to re-open it.
"Not only is it going to be convenient for families visiting the pub and the creek, it's also a great way of raising money for the RNLI," explained Steve.
"We are selling RNLI gifts and souvenirs with proceeds going to this essential maritime service."
The shop also sells fishing nets, bait, crab lines, footballs, gifts for children and, of course, a range of delicious ice creams.
The shop will be open from noon to around 4pm, but if you need something outside these hours, please just ask at the bar.
