Cycling routes
Depending on how adventurous your feeling, there are various start points for this route. There is also the opportunity to cycle part way and then take a trip in the Aqua Cab. Below are the Cycling routes alone.
Short route
A nice short route for those feeling less energetic, would be to begin at Mylor bridge car park. From there cycle South West towards Penryn then turn North towards Stockdale then back around to the Pandora Inn. After a delicious relaxing lunch you can then take the short cycle south back to the Mylor Bridge car park.
Long route
Having parked your car in between Penryn and Falmouth (shown on the map) follow the signs for Penryn. When you reach the T junction you will have a choice of either turning right towards Mylor Bridge (shorter route) or left towards Stockdale (longer route). Both routes lead to the Pandora Inn. After a leisurely lunch and a much needed drink you can take either the Mylor Bridge or the Stockdale route back, depending on how much you have indulged and how much you feel you need to cycle off!
Cycling and Aqua Cab routes
Long or Short route 1
Start by parking your car at the Mylor bridge car park (as shown on the map), from here you can cycle South West to Penryn. Then catch the Aqua Cab to The Pandora Inn via Falmouth, or alternatively you can continue cycling to Falmouth and catch the Aqua Cab from the Prince of Wales Pier. After a visit to The Pandora Inn, make tracks for the car at Mylor bridge. From here either go East and up and round past Stockdale and back up to Mylor bridge, or if that’s too far after an energetic day then at The Pandora Inn you can go South East straight to the car park at Mylor bridge.
Long or Short route 2
Starting at the car park at Penryn (see map), you can cycle North Easterly past Mylor bridge, and up towards the Pandora Inn. After some refreshments, you can then either catch the Aqua Cab from the Pandora Inn, to either Falmouth or Penryn, depending on how far you wish to cycle back to the car park at Penryn.
There are many possible routes. Why not have a look at the map provided and go and explore for yourself. There are both long and short routes, so do what you feel comfortable with. |
